Loyal fans of the actress are demanding that a man who jumped a barrier and grabbed the performer during yesterday's Wicked: For Good premiere be arrested or expelled from Singapore.

A viral footage shows the individual from Australia bypassing photographers and rushing toward Grande while the performers made its way down a promenade accompanied by onlookers.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo promptly pulled the surprised star away from Mr Wen, who was seen being escorted out of the premiere by security officers.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "let go after being arrested", though legal records indicated that he was due to appear on the next day. It is unknown if he was faced legal action.

Record of Disruptions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Troll Most Hated", has invaded a concert or event. His Instagram account features videos of him disturbing other celebrity events, including rushing the platform at the artist's Sydney show in June this year and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers concert in the same location last December.

"There needs to be action enforced against him as this is evidently a legal violation," commented an Instagram user, in a response to a video Mr Wen shared of his actions.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" one Instagram user questioned.

Followers Show Disapproval Over Grande's Safety

Several followers accused Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had spoken of dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder after a terrorist explosion at the conclusion of her spring 2017 concert in Manchester, killing 22 people and wounding numerous individuals.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" commented one more message on Instagram.

Some fans also questioned security officers at the premiere for not being adequately prepared; while different individuals requested online networks to block Mr Wen's content.

Response and Premiere Information

In videos spreading on the internet, Grande looked shocked when she was touched by the individual. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed reassuring her while Mr Wen was escorted away by security.

Grande has not commented on the situation, and the premiere activities proceeded as normal.

Many of Singapore attendees had lined up to greet the actors of Wicked

Hundreds of attendees had assembled in a mass of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific premiere in a Singapore mall, including some who had queued for as long as eight hours before it started.

The movie, to be released on the 21st of November, is the second of a two-part adaptation of the acclaimed stage musical Wicked, which focuses on the unlikely friendship between two very different characters.

The show itself is a adaptation of the 1900 children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was decked out in a light pink glittering gown at the event while Erivo, who portrays the Elphaba, wore a black tube gown decorated with roses.

They were alongside fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the top-earning film of 2024 in the UK, and received a dozen Oscar nominations, securing two for excellent wardrobe and artistic direction.
